This piece is aura treated. It started as a natural stone and had a thin layer of metal bonded to the surface.

One of the most unique specimen I have ever had the pleasure of coating. These druzy shells are quite rare and uncommon, so I knew I had to coat one! And I am super pleased with the result. This piece is super sparkly and beautiful. The moonbeam pairs with the specimen splendidly and gives major mermaid vibes!

This is natural shell that has fossilized. This occurs when silica in the ocean water fills the fossil, replacing the inner parts of the shell with a microcrystalline form of quartz. Quartz is believed to be the master healer.
These shells are from Gastropods from the Cretaceous period; they are roughly 50-100 million years old. They are embedded in a hard rocky matrix that requires each one to be removed by hand! These beauties are rare and absolutely mesmerizing!
This is a natural druzy shell bonded with precious metals to produce this stunning aura effect.
